In my opinion artists have always focused on the mundane.
For a few examples you have Tracey Emin’s unmade bed. Andy Warhol’s can of Campbells soup. The infamous pile of bricks at the Tate Gallery. Even Van Gogh would paint just his pipe on top of a wooden chair.
After stifling a yawn I have decided to produce a series of coasters commemorating the work of dull artists who I truly find fascinating.
So sit back, put on your slippers, light your pipe or pour yourself a cup of tea and enjoy the wonderful world of dull art.
